What to Make of Tab Trade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

The Broker — The Short Version

Tab Trade opened in March 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.

That last detail is relevant. It suggests the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.

They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.

Market coverage: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something that launched in March 2026, that coverage is not narrow.

What You Trade On

They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from the same login. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Getting both is useful. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is available for bots but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That will be a good addition once it is live.

What You Pay

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Suits people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not relevant to most retail traders. Skip it unless you move real size.

Execution Speed

The execution is where this broker actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at a much wider range.

Should you care? If you scalp, yes. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Put together those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package holds up. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.

Regulation

Here is the part you need to be straight about. The broker is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. There are FCA-regulated options out there.

But. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not bother with Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. It does inform your assessment.

The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works is your call.

Welcome Offer

Tab Trade offers a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you commit.

The complete breakdown, including regulation, withdrawals, pricing, here and the bonus terms, is at Trade The Day.
